The newly developed Pirschler 15-45x60 S spotting scopes are specially designed as a compact hunting spotting scope, for daytime observation in strong twilight and poor visibility conditions, but also ideally meet the requirements of classic bird watching. The compact and light Pirschler spotting scope with a 60 mm front lens can be conveniently placed in a backpack and easily taken to the place of use.
This slightly more compact version with a 60 mm lens is more suitable for field, forest, or mountain use than its somewhat larger and bulkier counterpart, the 80 mm version. The color richness is similarly good with this lens size, and in terms of image brightness, no particular compromise is necessary compared to the "big brother". The newly developed optical system guarantees a clear, high-contrast image even in poor lighting conditions and in twilight.
Even with 45x magnification, it provides a razor-sharp image. The focus ring has a diameter of 4 cm, so it can be operated comfortably even when wearing gloves. Every point of the scope, where glass and air come into contact with each other, has a multi-layer surface coating, thus guaranteeing maximum contrast, image sharpness and brightness. The spotting scope is nitrogen-filled and waterproof, which guarantees against fogging caused by moisture or sudden temperature differences. It has an extremely light tube for maximum robustness and mobility. The anti-slip rubber coating ensures good adhesion and a safe hold.
