The clip-on needs a clamping adapter to use on a daily riflescope. After measuring the diameter of the riflescope's tube around the front lens (the tube's diameter and not the lens diameter) you have to choose a proper adapter for using it as a clip-on. Without this you can use it as a thermal monocular only.
